Heretic's Row: Volume 1 Main Characters
Chief Inquisitor Rehan is the main character of the Heretic's Row series. He is in charge of the city of Grand Karbala. He is Mayor, Chief Inquisitor, Head Cleric and Warden of Heretic's Row all in one role. He is ruthless in his approach to his work and is fiercely loyal to Lord Zahhak.
Inquisitor Adir is Chief Inquisitor Rehan's second in command. He helps carry out Rehan's orders and has a slightly softer approach to his work than his boss. He is in a relationship with his soulmate, Tahira.
Lord Zahhak is the political and spiritual leader of all people in the world. He is regarded to be divine and brought rain back to the world after many years of drought and famine as well as ending all wars. He is responsible for creating the Worldwide Inquisition and instituted the Mark Trace program which acts as the worldwide identification and economic system . He has a very close friendship w
Tahira is Inquisitor Adir's soulmate. She has a bold personality and often takes charge in their relationship. Though how they met is mysterious, her disdain for Adir's work and his boss is not.
Seid is the Press Commissioner of Greater Grand Karbala. He has an explosive personality and is constantly working to undermine the authority of Rehan and the Inquisition office at every possible turn.
Laraib is one of the oldest citizens of Heretic's Row. He lives a quiet, obscure life and his wife, Sabria, is sick and bedridden. He is dedicated to her well-being and does everything he can to keep her alive.
